Get Involve With A Weekly, Fun-Filled, Educational Summer Day Camp
Camp Crusader is the summertime ministry of Calvary Baptist Church and Calvary Road Christian School (crcs.org). We have served the community for more than three decades providing a safe and nurturing environment where faith is fostered, fun abounds, and friendships grow. We have a child-centered program that seamlessly weaves the word of God into arts & crafts, music, sports and other enrichment experiences.
Camp Crusader begins each day with Chapel where campers sing songs, recite scripture, and grow deeper in their relationship with God. Our campers also enjoy hands-on activities through exciting themes that change each week.
Our 6.5-acre campus includes a main building with individual classroom spaces along with gymnasium. Outdoor spaces include a well-equipped playground, tetherball and basketball courts, multiple Ga-Ga ball courts as well as a field where our field where campers enjoy outdoor water play at least once per week. In addition to on-site activities, campers take field trips to local theme-related destinations and activity centers. We also bring special visitors to our campus such as petting zoos or magic shows.
We offer flexibility in scheduling so that families can pick and choose the weeks that work best for them. Extended morning and afternoon hours are included in our weekly rate.
For over three decades, Camp Crusader, the summer camp program of Calvary Road Christian School (crcs.org), has served the Greater Kingstowne and Northern Virginia Community. It is a thematically based program that brings a different message of learning each week. Coupled with the fun environment that Camp Crusader offers, campers enjoy both an educational and creative experience.
Each Camp Crusader week includes indoor activities within our campus’s classrooms and newly renovated gymnasium; outdoor activities on our 6.5 acre campus that includes a playground and field; and weekly field trips to theme-based locations and to Pirates Cove Water Park in Fairfax County.
As a Christian camp environment, we start each day with a chapel message, to focus our campers on the importance of seeking Our Lord in all that we do and to pursue Christ-like behavior in relationships.
Camp Crusader offers the flexibility of selecting weeks that integrate well within your family’s summer calendar. It also is a great gateway for your children to develop what can be life-long relationships that will bless them.
